canoe trip spain

In summer of 2010 I want to go on a canoe trip in Spain for 1 week. I just want to hire a canoe and peddle down river for a week with my own camping gear, food etc. I did this in Sweden last summer but i'm looking for a warmer place!
Can somebody answer a couple of questions:
1. Is it legal to camp in the wild in Spain or do i need a permit?
2. Are there companys where I can hire a canoe and return it somewhere else downriver?
3. Any advise or experience from anybody
